What are your shipping options?

PALCEK offers several shipping options. Customers can choose to use the PALCEK freight program, have their order routed by their preferred shipping carrier, or pick up on will call at our Richmond, CA location.

Does Palecek have a shipping program?

PALECEK Guaranteed Freight program is available with $600 net minimum order. Below-minimum orders with a truck-ship item will have a minimum truck charge. Additional shipping fees may apply for added service which include but are not limited to lift gate, change of address, residential delivery, re-delivery fees, call before delivery, and reconsignment fee.

How is shipping calculated for split shipments?

Freight is charged based on the total order amount. You will only be charged freight for the items sent in each shipment.

Do I have to ship to a receiver?

No, PALECEK freight program can be shipped to a residential address. Additional fees may apply.

What is a residential delivery fee?

Any delivery going to a home residence is considered residential delivery and is delivered curbside. Freight companies charge a fee for this service. Delivery to a commercial business is not subject to this fee.

For large or heavy items, consider shipping to a receiver or via White Glove for in-home delivery.

What is a lift gate fee?

A lift gate fee is charged when the receiver doesn’t have a shipping dock or a forklift to unload the shipment, and the freight company must use a lift gate to unload the shipment.

Can my item be shipped via small package carriers?

Each PALECEK product has been noted if it is truck ship only in the shipping information section. Truck ship items cannot be sent via small package carriers.

How do I receive my order?

When your order is delivered, inspect ALL sides of boxes before signing the delivery receipt “clear.” Note any damage (even if minor), shortages, or overages on the delivery receipt. Refuse damaged boxes (any box with creases, smashed corners, holes, etc.) and note on proof of delivery.

Signing a delivery receipt “clear” confirms that the shipment arrived in good condition and was complete. This prohibits the filing of a claim. It is your responsibility to ensure that all parties receiving your shipments (warehouse, commercial receiver, client, etc.) will comply with our requirements.

If the carrier doesn’t provide documents to physically sign, please ask for an exception number from the freight carrier.

Can I choose my own shipping carrier?

Yes, if you choose to use your own carrier, carrier account number & contact must be provided. We do not ship cash-on-delivery.

Any shipment that is not picked up by designated carrier within 10 days of contact will be shipped by our freight program and the customer will be responsible for all freight charges.

How do I change my ship-to address?

The ship to address on your order can be updated in the order portal any time before you order has been packed for shipment. If you order has already shipped, please contact customer service, please note additional fees may apply. We cannot guarantee shipping address changes after the order has shipped.

Do you offer White Glove shipping services?

PALECEK has partnered with a shipping company to provide white glove service nationwide. White glove delivery includes items being placed inside the room of choice, unpacking, debris removal and assembly of knockdown items.

To get a White Glove freight quote, enter a ship to address at checkout and select the White Glove option.

What are your will call hours and pickup location?

Appointments are required for will call. Appointments can be made Monday-Friday from 7am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Please call customer service at least 72 hours prior to pickup to schedule an appointment.

When can my carrier pick up the order?

Please call ahead to confirm the order is ready for pickup. Carrier pickup times are from 7am-3pm at 601 Parr Blvd., Richmond, CA.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can schedule a Will Call Pick Up. Once your order is ready, call Customer Service to schedule a pick up time. Please allow 72 hours when scheduling an appointment for your order to be ready. Will Call pick-up items are generally plastic wrapped for easy inspection.
