Design Leadership Network’s Director of Editorial and Community Engagement, Hadley Keller catches up with the design influencers behind Embello’s trailblazing all-virtual showhouse, Living by Design. Showhouse designers Dabito, Ariel Okin and Will Taylor of Bright Bazaar weigh in on creating a dream space, digitally, and what the showhouse’s success tells us about the future of the architecture and design industry.
Dabito will be signing copies of his newly published book, Old Brand New after the panel.

Our Moderator, Hadley Keller
Hadley Keller is a longtime design writer and editor currently serving as Director of Editorial and Community Engagement at the Design Leadership Network, a community of top interior designers.
Previously, she was Digital Director at House Beautiful, the nation’s oldest continually-published shelter magazine, where she oversaw all digital content as well as brand franchises including the Next Wave list of on-the-rise designers. Before that, she worked at Architectural Digest as a market editor, design writer, and, finally, the founding editor of AD PRO. She splits her time between New York and Washington
Ariel Okin
Ariel Okin is the founder of her eponymous firm, Ariel Okin Interiors, a New York based, full-service interior design firm specializing in luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across the country. Ariel’s signature style can be interpreted as “traditional with a twist” – warm, livable and elegant spaces, with an edited, contemporary and practical approach.
Ariel established her firm in 2016, and has since been featured and profiled in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Domino, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, and New York Magazine, among others. In 2022, she was recognized as one of House Beautiful’s Next Wave Designers, an exclusive list of the top interior design talent in the country.

Will Taylor
An English designer based in New York City, Will Taylor discovered his passion for design while studying for a Journalism. Since creating Bright Bazaar, a design blog that explores Will’s passion for color, he has been covered by the New York Times and appeared on Good Morning America.
