Palecek flips the switch on solar electricity

We are happy to announce that as of March 5, 2020 at 10:00 am PALECEK’s main 250,000 square foot Richmond, CA facility is now powered by a solar electrical system! Over the past 6 months we have been working on reducing our carbon footprint by supplying our own electrical power directly from the sun. This is one of many steps toward corporate sustainability and responsibility that PALECEK is taking to guard the environment for future generations. We installed 680 solar panels on the south roof of our main building that dramatically reduce our reliance on our local power grid.

At PALECEK, we pursue continued improvement socially and environmentally, and strive toward sustainable practices across all facets of our organization. By sustaining the environment and being responsible in business we hope to leave a proud legacy for the generations that follow. Over the years we have been conscious of our carbon footprint, and about 6 months ago we made the decision to fully pursue a solar program for our Richmond, CA facility.

This significant investment in solar energy will give us much of the power we need for the next 30 years. The project is an investment in our company, in our future, in corporate sustainability, in future generations, and in reducing our carbon footprint.
