About Kirk Nix
Kirk brings progressive design principles and decades of experience to his collaboration with PALECEK. His vision extends to modern and contemporary pieces featured throughout the world in such venues as the Ritz-Carlton, Fairmont, Marriott, Hilton, MGM and Wynn, all of which are among KNA’s many ongoing clients. His celebrity clientele consistently engage him to transform their personal spaces with his distinctive style.
The Collection
After five years, the collaborative collection is expanding and refining. Nix is headquartered in Los Angeles, but he first began working in the American South East doing projects for Disney. Today, his collection with PALECEK bring residential to hospitality. At the same time, these pieces bring a hospitality sensibility to residential spaces.
Combining contemporary influences, natural materials, and aesthetics, PALECEK x Kirk Nix pushes the bounds of design.
Unique Designs
The Fritz Collection features a bold stripe that pushes the limits of natural materials. The Fritz Side Chair features hardwood frame and legs in grey with pewter finish foot caps and double wall back and sides with hand-twisted lampakanay rope in a grey finish with black stripe.
The Pratt Chair Collection is an iconic piece for PALECEK x Kirk Nix and is inspired by indigenous art and fishing net weaving. The Pratt Arm Chair features plantation hardwood frame and legs in a dark espresso finish featuring natural jute rope in an open weave pattern.

Backgrounds
The best designs come from collaboration. Nix came from a strictly hospitality background while Andrew T. Palecek comes from the PALECEK tradition of unique residential and hospitality pieces. The meeting of minds has led to more intricate furnishings with ever-developing weaves.
